- Tech-Air 3 is a fully autonomous active airbag system and requires no external connections or sensors on the motorcycle to operate the system.
- The Tech-Air 3 airbag system is automatically activated via the magnetic zipper.
- The system can be easily stowed in a backpack or under the motorcycle seat when not in use.
- An LED indicator on the front chest shows the operational status of the airbag. The LED display also includes a haptic warning signal that vibrates to confirm that the system is activated and warns the rider when the battery is running low.
- Tech-Air 3 includes Alpinestars 2nd generation compact electronic control unit (ECU) located in the ECU pocket on the upper back of the Tech-Air 3 inner vest.
- Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 5.0) connectivity with the Tech-Air app allows the rider to monitor the system s operating status and battery status and provides a detailed map of motorcycle rides via MyRide.

- Tech-Air 3 has six integrated sensors (three accelerometers (one triaxial accelerometer) and three gyroscopes (one triaxial gyroscope)) to ensure the best impact monitoring in a variety of dynamic riding situations and even when stationary.
- The Tech-Air 3 is equipped with a diagonal zipper that completely covers the chest and at the same time conceals the inner airbag. The magnetic zipper is easy to use and provides a secure closure system for the airbag garment.
- Tech-Air 3 uses an impact detection algorithm that uses artificial intelligence to monitor exactly when the airbag needs to be deployed in the event of a collision so that the airbag provides active protection even when stationary when driving on the road and in a variety of driving conditions.
